I can usually get through the first and second boss without much issue, even with common equipment and no stats applied anywhere. At the moment I'm at Aegis 4, so I've restarted from level 1 four times already. While you certainly need quite a bit of RNG to get through the game, it also takes some skill. Just going to expound on what has already been said by the others. I've done a few complete runs, with four characters completed (gold in the tailor menu). 21 hours in and struggling with the third boss.īy no means an expert at the game, but I do have 35 hours in according to my save file. Please lemme know if you come up with new noob strategies because that is where I am currently. The throwing knife + jungrapier + hammer of tegus is our best possible god run. I get wrecked by the next lizard boss each time so I need to rethink that. I can always get through the second boss and this has never failed me. Stop eating when any of them reaches 50, it's a waste after that.

Try eating as much crit and evasion food as you can asap. If you die, carry the jung rapier back with you. You're doing great with 20 points in mystic.

The throwing knife plus that 25% attack boost by jungrapier item is the only thing that works in the beginning for me. So when it goes bullet hell, you just swipe your sword until it calms down, you switch to the ranged weapon soon and destroy those icicle shooter bones and get to town on that boss when it's stunned. All the icicles thrown at you can be cut through/vanished by a sword. They're both fairly common and they'll help you clear everything until the ice boss.įor the ice boss, have a sword with an attack speed greater than 3 and a throwing knife in the other slot. Try finding the throwing knife and a Jungrapier (the spelling is a lot weirder but that's what I pronounce it as) in a run. As someone who started playing the game 3 days ago, and the farthest I have gotten is to the 7th floor, I think I can relate.
